SAB meeting 2022
The first meeting with the Scientific Advisory Board was held in November 2022 at Aalto University.
The SAB members and observers assigned by the Research Council of Finland were initially welcomed by a dinner in Helsinki to get introduced to the CoE group leaders.
The advisory meeting was held the next day (3.11.2022) at Aalto University. In this meeting, the PIs discussed the current status of the research in their groups, the CoE research plan, as well as the future direction of the CoE.
Representatives from the host organizations including Tua Huomo from VTT, Jarmo Takala from Tampere University also attended the SAB meeting. The representative from Aalto University (vice-president in research) Ossi Nukkarinen, unfortunately could not attend on account of illness.

After further discussions between the SAB and the PIs, the SAB offered their feedback and recoomendation to the CoE leaders. A written evaluation report was submitted by the SAB to the the Research Council of Filnad in December 2022.
