Zoran Cenev appointed as Assistant Professor at Aarhus University, Denmark

Zoran obtained his M.Sc. degree from Tampere University (former Tampere University of Technology) working on desktop robotics and microfactories (Prof. Reijo Tuokko), followed by a decade-long research endeavor at Aalto University. Zoran obtained his Ph.D. degree at Aalto University from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation in 2019 (Prof. Quan Zhou) where his research work focused on micromanipulation and microrobotics. He continued his postdoctoral research at the Department of Applied Physics (Prof. Jaakko Timonen) working on soft and active matter physics. Zoran’s research continues to center around the implementation of physical principles and engineering practices for the development of micromanipulation and robotic platforms, measurement devices, and actuation technologies. Since November 2023, Zoran Cenev was appointed to a tenure-track assistant professor position at the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering at Aarhus University in Denmark.
